Continuing Education Requirements for Veterinary Technicians
Watching a VETgirl webinar live counts as "interactive" continuing education (CE), which is no different than sitting in a lecture at a conference. If you watch an on-demand webinar recording or listen to a VETgirl recorded podcast, this is referred to as "passive" or "non-interactive" CE. To obtain "passive"/"non-interactive" CE credit, you must successfully complete a quiz associated with that material. Please note that some states may have limitations on the number of hours of passive online CE you receive. Almost all our CE is RACE-approved for both veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
State veterinary CE requirements listed below are based upon the most up to date information available. Continuing education requirements are subject to change and therefore, it is the veterinary licensee's responsibility to remain up to date with their state's CE requirements.
If you have questions, or have an update to the information below, please contact us.
